Q: Can all appointments be conducted over the phone?
A: No, due to the requirements to do a complete health assessment for each patient, which includes physical assessments and exams, at least the first visit, and often subsequent visits (depending on each patient's unique circumstances) must be completed in-office. Follow-up visits can sometimes be done over the phone.
Q: Are treatment results guaranteed?
A: No, treatment results are not guaranteed. While we'd love to be able to offer this guarantee, there are just way too many variables to be able to make any guarantees.
Q: Why do I have to tell my other health professionals that I am working with you?
A: It is important that you inform your other healthcare practitioners that you are working with us, as we may be doing treatments that can interact with treatments that they may want to recommend. While we are always vigilant about assessing and avoiding any drug, vitamin, and herb interactions, other practitioners may prescribe future medications or treatments without realizing that you are taking something new - it is important that you keep them up to date with all of your treatments.
Q: Are you available if I have a medical emergency?
A: While we strive to be as available as possible, if you are having a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. We do ask that you notify us of any medical emergencies, however, our office is not equipped to deal with emergencies, and you would be best served by accessing the emergency medical services that are put in place in your community.
